Welcome to the SIRacing / Black Dog Motorsports website. We compete in SCCA Solo Competition, locally, regionally, and at the Solo Nationals.
Our car is my 2000 Mustang with the V6 engine. I bought it in March of 2000 with 22 miles on it. It was the daily driver for several years before I decided to compete in Solo events as a G-Stock car. In G-Stock the class is dominated by the New Mini Cooper S. After making all the modifications allowed I did not see any chance of competing against these go-kart type vehicles, nor did I want to get into the "buy a new car every year or two" situation that is the stock classes.
The decision was made to go all the way to the C-Prepared class, the "Heavy-Metal Class". Front engine, rear wheel drive, American Muscle cars. With the support of my wife and the rest of the family we have made the Mustang a dedicated racecar as of the middle of 2006. This has allowed us to make more and more modifications.
